Wolvaardt was imperious for the Originals in their very identical chase of 136 at Utilita Bowl last week, but Superchargers seamer Kate Cross got the crucial wicket.
After Wolvaardt and Mooney returned to the pavilion, the opposition faced difficulties. The Superchargers attack bowled well, taking five different wickets, although they lost wickets on a frequent basis.
Annabel Sutherland was the Meerkat Match Hero for the second game in a row. In her words, “It was a complete team performance out there,” she considered the victory. We performed a great job with the bat, in my opinion. We made a strong start on a great pitch, and the bowlers did their jobs well.
“It seemed like a fantastic wicket because you could trust your swing and strike through the ball’s line. I’m quite pleased of the squad since our bowlers also gave the impression that there was more in it than there actually was.

“At half-time I thought we might be a little bit under par, just because it was such a good wicket, but we felt it was defendable with how we usually bowl in the powerplay, which we did well again today.”
