Josh Hull, a pacer, is scheduled to make his debut at the Oval in England’s third Test match against Sri Lanka. Hull, who took just two wickets in the second Test at Lord’s, will take Matthew Pott’s spot in the third Test.

He made light of Josh Hull 6’7″ height by calling it a “huge ceiling” and said he would be having a great week in London.

The left-arm seamer has a lot going for him, he said, and once his nerves calm, he should perform well. “As a bowler, he is quite useful because he not only has a huge ceiling but is also quite large.” You can push it up to 90 mph when you are 6 feet 7 inches tall. Ollie Pope, the interim captain, was all praise for the youthful pacer prior to Josh Hull debut.

Going forward, we know what he is capable of. This is a fantastic week for him to visit, pick up some knowledge, and demonstrate his whole range of abilities,” he continued.

With a 2-0 lead in the series, England is expected to win handily at Oval. But there are few things the team would want to see improved. Pope’s physical appearance is a major worry. That was brought up by former cricketer Michael Vaughan, and the captain himself addressed it earlier this week, saying that he expects things to improve at Oval, his home field.
