influential Rashid Khan's return.

Rashid Khan withdrew from the current Big Bash League due to a little back ailment. The wrist-spinner hasn’t returned to professional cricket yet after undergoing back surgery. Regarding the same, head coach of Afghanistan Jonathan Trott stated that the cricket player is still rehabilitating and that there is no concrete timeline for his potential return to the national team.

Jonathan Trott continued, “As he is a very important cricketer and is expected to play a big part for Afghanistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup, the team management is not in the mood to rush him back.” Prior to the third Twenty20 International match against India, Trott stated that the spinner is putting in a lot of effort and practicing alongside the other cricket players.

“We need to make sure that we handle his back with extreme caution. We need to make sure he is fully recovered from that kind of operation and not hurry him since he is such a significant player. Jonathan Trott was quoted by ESPNcricinfo as stating, “It’s important to give him the right time. He’s working really hard and is here with the team.”

He has a strong commitment to the national side of Afghanistan. He will be the first to take the field when he’s ready. He still has a few check-ups and appointments to ensure his health. Thus, there isn’t a precise timeline. If at all possible, I hope that happens soon. However, there’s no haste or pressure, the former England international continued.

Rashid Khan should be fully recovered in time for the next Indian Premier League season.

Being one of the team leaders in the Gujarat Titans locker room, he will be crucial to the club’s success in the next game—especially now that Hardik Pandya is out. He intends to use the IPL as a kind of practice run for the T20 World Cup, which kicks off on June 1.
