For the 2025–2026 season, Cricket Australia (CA) has revealed their 18-player national contract list. Georgia Voll was kept after receiving an upgrade last summer, and Tess Flintoff was given her first full-time contract.
Notably, the updated list does not include all-rounder Jess Jonassen.
Darcie Brown, Tess Flintoff, Ashleigh Gardner, Kim Garth, Heather Graham, Grace Harris, Alyssa Healy, Alana King, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath, Sophie Molineux, Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt, Annabel Sutherland, Tayla Vlaeminck, Georgia Voll, and Georgia Wareham are all on the list of players who have contracts for 2025–2026.
According to Shawn Flegler, Head of Performance (Women’s Cricket) and National Selector for Cricket Australia, “Tess is an exciting young player who we can see having a long future in the green and gold.” “Now that she has recovered from her injury, we anticipate seeing her play well over the summer, which will further bolster our pace-bowling depth.
“Georgia’s international career has gotten off to an incredible start. She has demonstrated her enormous potential right away and has been a vital member of the squad when Alyssa Healy is not playing at the top of the order. With an ODI World Cup later this year and a multi-format series against India in the new year, her remarkable ability to adjust to the many formats will be put to use.
“While Jess Jonassen has not been included on this year’s list, we’re always keeping an eye on players outside of the squad and she is no exception.”
Despite suffering a dislocated shoulder during the 2024 T20 World Cup, Tayla Vlaeminck has kept her contract as she works on her recovery.
By earning 12 upgrade points throughout the year—five for a Test match, two for an ODI, and two for a T20I—players who were not selected for contracts as part of the original squad can get upgrades.
