James Anderson confirms he will remain a consultant for England until his tour of New Zealand

James Anderson, an England pacer who was just brought back, is presently practicing bowling with the team ahead of the Test series against Sri Lanka. After concluding his international career after playing his 188th and final Test match at Lord’s against the West Indies in July, he accepted the post right away. The seasoned seamer confirmed his participation with the club through the November and December tour to New Zealand in a recent conversation.

“I currently have winter travel scheduled to Pakistan and New Zealand. After that, nothing solid,” Anderson said in a conversation with Sky Sports.

I’m still learning as I go because I’m extremely new to this: James Anderson

The enduring icon of English cricket has freely acknowledged that, as a novice, he is still learning the subtleties of teaching. He declared that the management of the team will determine how well he performed in the capacity, for which he had no prior expertise. Anderson is a seasoned professional, yet he acknowledged with humility that he is still learning about the ins and outs of coaching.

“I’m still learning as I go because I’m really new to this. In addition, I’m trying to determine whether this is the direction I want to take my career in part, and they’re trying to determine whether I’m competent at it, Anderson said.
