James Anderson, an England pacer who was just brought back, is presently practicing bowling with the team ahead of the Test series against Sri Lanka. After concluding his international career after playing his 188th and final Test match at Lord’s against the West Indies in July, he accepted the post right away. “I currently have winter travel scheduled to Pakistan and New Zealand. After that, nothing solid,” Anderson said in a conversation with Sky Sports.

Regarding the current series with Sri Lanka, England is comfortably up at 221/3 following a 44.1 finish on Day 1 of the third Test at Kennington Oval. On the first day, poor light may force the remaining overs to be bowled.
