Chris Gayle elaborated on his legendary 175-run knock for Bangalore against the Pune Warriors in 2013 and revealed he would have gotten a double century if it weren’t for AB de Villiers. “AB came in and scored like 30 runs in 8 balls or something like that,” Chris Gayle said after the conversation turned to his diet and how staying true to his roots helped him during his career.

Chris Gayle then told a humorous tale about how one of his songs accidentally broke a fan’s nose. Fortunately, the affair came to a humorous conclusion. “The ball struck a small child in the nose after ricocheting off a wall. I rushed right to the hospital after that and found her there with bloody clothes and a bloody nose. Why are you depressed, she inquired? Just hit more sixes, don’t worry.
Man, it was just great. By telling me that she wanted me to hit more sixes even though she was in pain, she made me feel better. It was an emotional time. The following game, each supporter carried a sign that read, “Please break my nose so I may see you in the hospital.”
Chris Gayle claimed that the RCB fans are the greatest in the IPL after describing the incident. “The RCB crowd is among the best I’ve ever encountered. When the RCB! RCB! chants begin at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The very best. RCB has the best supporters. In Chennai, Gayle also thanked the supporters, and Uthappa hailed Kolkata. But Bangalore’s former star batsman ultimately won the award for having the best fan base.
Chris Gayle claimed that people still remember him for his illustrious career with RCB, which helped establish him as an IPL icon. Gayle will always be associated with RCB for some of the best individual batting efforts in the history of the tournament, notwithstanding his stays in Punjab and Kolkata.

After that, Uthappa asked Chris Gayle a series of quick questions in which he disclosed Rohit Sharma was his current favourite batsman to watch. Then he tried deciding which competition was more difficult to win—the IPL or the World Cup.
“I’ll mention the World Cup. I have attended an IPL final, but I have never attended a World Cup final. I was so near. I was considering it from a 50+ perspective. T20 is it ok? The IPL, I suppose, follows. If you include the T20 World Cup, the IPL becomes unquestionably more difficult to win. I wanted to compete in the World Cup for 50-over teams.
When Uthappa inquired towards the end of the conversation about the best bowler he had ever faced, Gayle had the ideal response. He wasn’t born yet. All bowlers are excellent. It’s challenging to choose out one name as the greatest because I’ve been through so many. There are too many skilled bowlers on the field, and I’ve already destroyed far too many of them. I continue to wait for the greatest player to bowl to me.
After a few more questions, the discussion came to a close as Chris discussed his joyful and humorous personality, the number of tattoos he had, and his identity as the “Universe Boss.”
