In light of Babar Azam difficulties in the current Test series against Australia, former Pakistani cricket player Muhammad Yousuf has come out in favor of the player. In the current second Test match, Yousuf is motivating Babar to recover more fully in his final innings.
Mohammad Yousuf made these remarks in response to Babar’s recent dismissal by Australia skipper Pat Cummins for just one run off seven balls on Day 2 of Pakistan’s first-inning Test at the venerable Melbourne Cricket Ground. In the first Test match in Perth, Cummins had already removed the former captain of Pakistan in the second innings. During the first Test match, the hosts won by 360 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, despite Babar Azam scoring just 21 and 14 in his two innings.

At stumps on Day 2 of the second Test, Pakistan is 194/6.
After winning the toss in the second Test, Shan Masood, the captain of Pakistan, decided to field first. Marnus Labuschagne scored a cool 63 runs off 155 balls to help Australia finish their innings at 318 in the midday session on day 2. On the other hand, Mitchell Marsh adopted a forceful strategy, hitting 41 off 60 deliveries. Usman Khawaja, who had already scored 42 runs, and David Warner had earlier combined for 90 runs, with the latter scoring 38 runs. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza, and Shaheen Afridi each grabbed two wickets, while Aamer Jamal claimed three wickets.
Shan Masood and Abdullah Shafique both scored half-centuries in Pakistan’s opening innings. With Mohammad Rizwan (29*) and Aamer Jamal (2*) at the crease, the visiting team was at 194/6 in 55 overs at the end of Day 2 stumps, trailing by 124 runs. Pat Cummins was successful for the home team, taking three wickets.
