Aakash Chopra, who is the host of the daily sports show ‘#AAKASHVANI’ on JioCinema, recently discussed the reasons why Ishan Kishan should be selected for the World Cup. Ishan Kishan does not get very many opportunities, but when he does, there is a lot of pressure on him to do well. He has scored a double century, but even after that, we don’t see him having many chances.
This is a proven reality, as he was left out of the very following series after his double century was scored because of his performance. However, he has a firm grasp on the rhythm of the one-day international format, and it remains to be seen where in the lineup Ishan will bat for this squad.
Aakash Chopra went on to elaborate on how the Indian team will prepare their mentality in preparation for the World Cup.
