On Saturday, February 3, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan and his wife Safa Baig commemorated their eighth wedding anniversary. The 39-year-old praised his wife and shared a lovely photo of the two on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In a poignant letter, he described her as his children’s mother, constant companion, friend, uplifter, comedian, and troublemaker. Notably, Irfan Pathan , who won Player of the Match in the 2007 T20 World Cup final, got married in 2016 and has two boys, Suleiman and Imran.

Irfan Pathan will compete in the Asian Legends League for India.
Irfan Pathan will be participating in the Asian Legends League’s first season as an Indian player. The competition is scheduled to start on March 13 and run through March 21. Pathan expressed his excitement about participating in the new tournament, saying it brought back a lot of memories. He continued by saying that there is a great deal of excitement involved because the spectators enjoy seeing the former cricket players perform.
“It feels fantastic to be back on the field after so many years as a pundit. However, playing cricket will always be our first love. Furthermore, participating in the Asian Legends League will undoubtedly relive many past experiences. I’ve had a lot of experience playing cricket with the other league Icon players. It offers you an alternative rush. It’s going to be an extremely exciting event for the fans as well. I usually enjoy watching this kind of league,” Pathan remarked.
The player, who was born in Baroda, believes that India would win the second Test against England and rally. Pathan expressed his shock at the Rohit Sharma-led team’s defeat in the Hyderabad Test, but he still believes the series will end well in Visakhapatnam.
