DUBLIN: Graham Hume will not be travelling to the Netherlands for the Tri-Series because of delayed visa processing; instead, bowling all-arounder Fionn Hand will be a part of the Ireland Men’s T20I team.
Due to delays in the visa application procedure, Hume, who was born in South Africa and needs a Schengen Visa to perform in the Netherlands, will now miss the tour. Hume was picked last week in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad; this issue has no bearing on his selection.
The 25-year-old Fionn Hand, who has played 10 Twenty20 Internationals for the Ireland Men, was just added to the team for Tuesday’s Third T20I against Pakistan.
THE THREE-SERIES
From May 18 to 24, Voorburg will host the Tri-Series. The European Cricket Network (ECN) will live broadcast every game using six cameras.

Ireland and Pakistan recently engaged in a three-match T20I home series. They went on to win one game in the series but ultimately lost it 1-2. With a target of 182 runs, Ireland’s star batsman Andrew Balbirnie hammered 10 fours and two sixes in his match-winning 77 off 55 to take the first wicket in the series.
