IPL versus PSL: Wasim Akram responds, “You can’t compare two tournaments, IPL is huge and PSL is huge in Pakistan as well.”

In a recent fast-paced interview, former Pakistani cricket player Wasim Akram was asked to choose between the PSL (Pakistan Super League) and the IPL (Indian Premier League).

The 57-year-old stated that the Pakistan Super League is also very popular in Pakistan, but he also stated that there is no comparison between the two franchise cricket competitions because the Indian Premier League is so popular worldwide.

“I have experience in both; the two competitions cannot be compared.” Without a doubt, the PSL is like the mini-Indian Premier League of Pakistan, just like the IPL is in that country.
