Against Maharashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the 19-year-old showed flashes of his talent by hitting 67 runs off of 37 deliveries, helping Jharkhand chase down 355 runs. The cricket player received appreciation from numerous scouts who were on the ground as a result of the same, and this ultimately contributed to his landing a big contract.
Before the 2024 IPL, Delhi famously let go of Phil Salt.
