There is definitely a chance that Sanju Samson will be traded. Discussions about a possible trade involving him have been rife on social media. A few days later, it was claimed that the Royals themselves told other teams that they were interested in releasing him.
According to Cricbuzz, Manoj Badale, the principal owner of RR, has taken the lead in the negotiations. The British-Indian billionaire may have also specified other players from other teams the Royals might be interested in replacing the wicketkeeper-batter, according to the same article.
Sanju Samson reportedly asked the Rajasthan Royals for a trade deal or a direct release.
The Royals are thought to have requested either Ravindra Jadeja or Ruturaj Gaikwad from the Chennai Super Kings. But CSK is unwilling to replace Samson with either of their Indian stars.
In actuality, the management of CSK is currently unwilling to release any players. As of mid-August, the Sanju Samson to CSK transaction is still far off. Given that any other club may acquire Sanju Samsonbefore then, it’s feasible that his name won’t be listed in the mini auction.
It is not entirely impossible, though, that the 30-year-old will remain with RR until the mini auction. The franchise is responsible for trading a player prior to the auction, for those who are unaware. Since the 2018 IPL, Samson has been with RR.
According to earlier reports, Samson asked the Royals for a move because he wanted to take his IPL career in a different path. Regarding the leadership and the batting position, Samson and the management have also had several disagreements.
