The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) will commence on Saturday, May 17, according to a recent press announcement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This comes following in-depth discussions with the Indian government and all of the tournament’s major stakeholders.
Beginning on the above indicated day, a total of 17 games are scheduled to be played at six different locations. On Tuesday, June 3, the IPL 2025 final is set to take place. Two doubleheaders that will be played on different Sundays are included in the updated schedule.
Soon, the precise locations for the playoffs will be revealed. The remaining league games will be held at Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. On Tuesday, May 27, the group-stage matches are expected to come to an end.
