Josh Hazlewood, an Australian bowler, has returned to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team as they advance to the Indian Premier League 2025 Playoffs. After the tournament was halted, he left for Australia, with little hope of a comeback.
Due to his shoulder ailment, Josh Hazlewoodwas unable to play in a league match for RCB.
Surprisingly, though, the seasoned player is now prepared to contribute his right-arm pace to the Rajat Patidar-led team once more. The bowler is expected to participate in RCB’s last league stage match against the Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday, May 27, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, as it has been established that he is totally healed from the niggle since arriving in India.
The RCB fans, who are among the most ardent online, quickly deduced the hint from a picture of cricket kit, with Cricket Australia’s insignia shown all over the bags, after the team used social media to casually and in an encrypted manner announce his arrival.

Also joining is Tim Seifert.
Tim Seifert was also selected by RCB as one of their season-long temporary replacements for English batsman Jacob Bethell. Prior to the LSG match, the New Zealander has also announced his entry to the club lineup. His involvement in the forthcoming match is still uncertain, though, as Hazlewood is probably going to be included in the four foreign players allowed in a starting lineup.
Josh Hazlewood, on the other hand, might not be suffering too much because he is also part of Australia’s team that will face South Africa in the World Test Championship 2025 Final at the Lord’s in London, which is only a week after the lucrative competition ends.
