In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Jitesh Sharma, the vice captain of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), hit Kyle Jamieson of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) with consecutive sixes.
With Jitesh and Liam Livingstone at the crease, the Kiwi pacer arrived to bowl the match’s seventeenth over. Jitesh produced an amazing scoop shot off a short ball on the first ball of the over. Instead of moving inside the queue, the right-handed batter scooped it finely over the ropes by bending the back.
The wicketkeeper-batter came down the track and muscled it over long-off when Jamieson bowled at a length on the very next delivery. The ball travelled the distance even though it did not leave the middle of the bat. Jitesh simply exploited the bowler’s mind and took advantage of the PBKS bowler’s earlier attempt to challenge him with the short ball.

The Indian veteran Virat Kohli scored 43 off 34 as the Rajat Patidar-led squad scored 190 in the opening innings of the summit match.
Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma, Rajat Paitdar, and Mayank Agarwal all scored in the 20s but were unable to convert.
In their four-over period, Jamieson and Arshdeep Singh grabbed three wickets for PBKS, while Azmatullah Omarzai, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Vijaykumar Vyshak each claimed one. To win the IPL 2025, PBKS have to chase 191 runs in the second innings.
Notably, neither team changed their starting lineup for the pivotal match, and both teams are vying for their first IPL championship.
