Urvil Patel was dismissed on the last delivery of the second over in Match 62 of the current Indian Premier League between the CSK and RR at the Arun Jaitley Stadium due to an incredible on-field performance by Kwena Maphaka. After CSK was asked to bat first, Urvil became the second wicket to go.
It was bowled on a firm length by Yudhvir Singh. Urvil attempted to slug the ball down the floor. But at mid-on, the error could only go as far as Maphaka. The 19-year-old pedalled backwards to finish a fantastic take, making the difficult situation appear simple. Yudhvir’s second wicket of the night came from Urvil. Devon Conway had been dismissed by him a couple of deliveries before.

A lacklustre Fazalhaq Farooqi had been replaced by Yudhvir, who had appeared in three games for RR this season. At the toss, Sanju Samson made the same statement. However, CSK entered the game with the same lineup from their most recent two-wicket victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The first two teams to withdraw from the playoff race were Chennai Super Kings and RR. So far, their IPL 2025 campaigns have been very dreary. Both parties would like to see their campaign come to a satisfying conclusion. This is the last league phase match for RR.
