Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a bowler for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), made his IPL 2025 debut on March 28 against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Despite being a member of the team in 2009, he never participated in any games.
Nonetheless, he played one game for the team in the 2009 Champions League campaign. IPL posted a video on social media in which Bhuvneshwar Kumar talked candidly about his feelings about rejoining the squad.

When SRH won the title in 2016, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was a member of the team, and RCB faced off against them in the championship match. The player had a great season, taking 23 wickets at an average of 21.30 in 16 games. He took 26 wickets in 14 games a season later. With SRH, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had an amazing league adventure. The batsman from Uttar Pradesh said that after playing for the 2016 champions for 11 years, he felt a little “awkward” playing for RCB.
“I felt a little strangely uncomfortable after playing with the 11-year-old team, but RCB didn’t make me feel that way.
