On Wednesday, April 3, Shah Rukh Khan, a co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was in attendance at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam to witness the stunning 106-run victory of the Shreyas Iyer-led team over the Delhi Capitals (DC).
Shah Rukh was spotted hugging head coach Chandrakant Pandit, 62, demonstrating that his efforts were not in vain. The dressing room mood should be at an all-time high after the previous two-time IPL-winning side won their third straight game of the season, according to former Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan, who made this statement live.
One of his favorite team members, Rinku Singh, was spotted talking with Shah Rukh. Captain Shreyas Iyer received a bear hug from the renowned actor shortly after. Shah Rukh then had a meeting with the players from Delhi. He praised Khaleel Ahmed for his IPL 2024 performances thus far while giving him a hug. The actor from Dunki also gave former KKR spinner Kuldeep Yadav an embrace after he missed the match because of a niggle.

Following their crushing victory over DC, KKR tops the leaderboard.
Shreyas won the toss and chose to bat first on a fantastic track in Visakhapatnam. With seven fours and as many sixes, Narine dominated the spotlight with an 85 off just 39 balls. In his opening IPL innings, Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored an incredible 54 off just 27 balls. With a stunning 41 off just 19 balls, Russell extended his purple patch with the willow. KKR achieved the second-highest score in the competition’s history with 272/7, thanks to cameos from Rinku and Shreyas.

DC lost four wickets in the first five overs of their reply, which left them in a desperate situation. Delhi lost by 106 runs, although half-centuries from Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs helped to narrow the margin of defeat. In 17.2 overs, they were dismissed for 166 runs. For the first time this season, KKR won their opening three games, and they are now ahead of the Rajasthan Royals in the standings.
