At M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by a margin of 28 runs on Tuesday, April 2, to record their second straight victory in the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). Following their first-inning batsmanship, LSG amassed a respectable 181/5 in their allotted 20 overs, with Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran leading the way.
Mahipal Lomror top scored for RCB with 33 (13), but they were bowled out for 153 in 19.4 overs in response. Naveen-ul-Haq (2/25), who helped LSG win its second game of the season, and Mayank Yadav both had outstanding performances with the ball. After their victory, RCB dropped to the ninth position on the points table with just two points from four games, while Lucknow surged to the fourth spot with two wins from three games.
Now, let’s examine the game’s highlights: IPL 2024 RCB vs. LSG:
