Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday, March 29, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by seven wickets to extend their winning streak in the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). Virat Kohli’s outstanding innings helped RCB, who were given the opportunity to bat first, achieve a respectable score of 182/6 in the 20 overs permitted.
For their side, Andre Russell (2/29) and Harshit Rana (2/39) each claimed two wickets. With Venkatesh Iyer and Sunil Narine leading the way at bat, KKR ridiculed the goal totally in response, reaching it in just 16.5 overs. 2. In the chase, Sunil Narine charges into action.
The club management has moved the all-round player up the order once more, this time under the guidance of former KKR captain Gautam Gambhir, who did the same for him in 2017. With both hands, the southpaw grabbed the chance and exploited the powerplay, hitting RCB bowlers all over the pitch. With the aid of two fours and five sixes, Narine struck a blistering 47 (22) to put his team firmly in the lead throughout the chase.

3. Venkatesh’s fast-paced fifty-yard strike puts KKR ahead.
With their team off to a scorching start with 86 runs for the first wicket off 39 balls from openers Sunil Narine and Philip Salt (30 off 20), the southpaw went into the bat. Iyer, who came in to bat, carried on the assault, hitting three fours and four sixes en route to scoring fifty off just thirty balls.
