The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have begun preparing for the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, and they plan to defend their title. At the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 22, the Chennai-based team will play the curtain-raiser against the three-time finalists, Royal Challengers Bangalore.
A picture of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja working hard in the nets was recently posted on the team’s official social media account. Following that, the image went viral on social media. The franchise has been posting updates from the training session, including videos and pictures, quite often. An earlier image of “Captain Cool,” sporting long hair and a vintage appearance, also went viral online.
CSK commented on the photo on X previously on Twitter with the words, “7️ 8, Makes our day great.”

Mumbai Indians and CSK both have five championships between them in the lucrative league. The Chennai-based squad qualified for the playoffs 12 times in their 14 seasons of play, more than any other team, and made a record 10 appearances in the championship game.
