India’s Australia tour frenzy as fan zones sell out 50 days before series

For the forthcoming men’s series against India, Cricket Australia (CA) has reported that all eight venues have sold out of the Indian supporter zones. The unprecedented demand and enthusiasm surrounding the series is demonstrated by the fact that the public tickets for the Sydney and Canberra matchups have also sold out.

Indian Fan Zones for all three ODIs and five T20Is are completely booked with 50 days till the first ball is thrown, indicating the growing excitement for one of the summer’s most anticipated matches.

The first ODI of the series will take place in Perth on October 19, and the second and third matches will take place in Adelaide and Sydney on October 23 and 25, respectively. Five T20Is will follow the three ODIs, with the first taking place in Canberra on October 29 and the second in Melbourne on October 31. Before the sides travel to the Gold Coast for their fourth meeting on November 6, the third match will take place in Hobart on November 2. The white-ball tour will end on November 8 with the fifth and final Twenty20 International in Brisbane.

Cricket Australia’s Executive General Manager of Events & Operations, Joel Morrison, shared his thoughts on the “overwhelming response” and said he anticipates a thrilling series between the two cricketing titans.

“The tremendous response to the Indian fan zones selling out at all eight locations has us ecstatic. We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm that fans continue to show for the game and the momentum that is growing around this series. We anticipate a thrilling match between two outstanding cricketing nations on the field, as well as a lively environment in the fans.
