Indian team is the greatest in the world; Kane Williamson feels it will be difficult to stop them in the World Cup final.

As they advanced to their fourth ODI World Cup final, Team India celebrated a historic win. In the 2023 World Cup semifinals, the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand thanks to a strong all-around effort that helped them evade the Kiwi threat. Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami‘s incredible performances helped the Rohit Sharma-led team defeat the Black Caps by 70 runs and advance to the tournament’s final match. Speaking about the squad’s excellence during the competition, Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, stood up to give the team a ton of accolades and declare them to be the greatest team in the world.

Yes, for India’s upcoming game? Yes. That’s difficult because they’re the best cricket team in the world and they’re all performing at their best. Additionally, I believe that failure and how one handles it are common themes in cricket. The manner in which they’ve performed throughout this competition has been amazing,” IndiaToday cited Kane Williamson as saying.

Really, they haven’t lost a beat. Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson also discussed how Team India has performed flawlessly thus far in the competition. According to his opinion, the team will also be entering the highly anticipated competition’s summit match with some much-needed confidence.

“They haven’t missed a beat really, and to come into a semi-final, you go through your round-robin and you try and get to the stage, and it starts again, but the way they came out and played, yeah, shows the mindset that they have and the space that they’re in, and I’ve got no doubt they’ll go into that next match full of confidence,” Williamson stated.

India advanced to the 2023 ODI World Cup final after beating New Zealand. It is noteworthy that the team will play the victor of South Africa vs Australia in the second semifinal. On Sunday, November 19, the tournament’s championship match will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
