On June 9 in New York, during the current T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan will renew their storied rivalry. The two teams have split their last two T20 World Cup matches, with one winning for each. The Rohit Sharma-led team exacted retribution a year later in Australia, winning by four wickets after Pakistan defeated India by ten wickets in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Last year, the two nations faced off in the ODI World Cup, with India emerging victorious once more.
Even though there is always some excitement around the India-Pakistan matches, Mohammed Kaif, a former batter for India, has chosen to downplay it this time around.
