Returning to the cricket field, it’s important to note that the women’s cricket team put on a standout performance, winning the championship in a nail-biting match against Sri Lanka. The women won by 19 runs, giving India yet another gold medal. They showed tremendous talent and tenacity.
India’s medal total at the Asian Games 2022–2023 keeps increasing as the days go by, and it now stands at an outstanding 38 medals, including an incredible 10 gold medals. With this outstanding performance, India has moved up to fourth place in the overall standings, and the team has set its sights on the coveted 100-medal threshold.
