India vs South Africa Women's Test in Chennai is free to attend, according to the TNCA

Entry to the forthcoming Test match between the ladies of India and South Africa at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai, will be free, according to a recent announcement by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).

After a dominating three-game ODI series, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team will now play a one-off Test match against South Africa’s women. The supporters will get free admission to the stadium, according to a statement issued by the TNCA.

The endeavour has been made to draw larger audiences to women’s cricket matches. The board also disclosed that tickets for the women’s T20Is against South Africa and India will only cost INR 150. It was also stated that free public access will be available to the MA Chidambaram Stadium’s C, D, and E lower stands; if these stands are full, free public access would also be available to the I, K, and K lower stands.

Against South Africa, India hopes to maintain their current form.

In the three-game ODI series against South Africa’s women, the Indian ladies played a fantastic match. India’s women dominated the side throughout the series and looked amazing in Bengaluru. The team won by 143 runs in the first ODI, four runs in the second, and six wickets in the third.

The team’s standout performer was Smriti Mandhana, who amassed two century and a 90-run innings during the third match. As the hosts want to continue their winning streak, a lot will rest on her in the next Test. Not to mention, following the one Test, there will be three Twenty20 Internationals between the two teams.
