India should have played matches between different teams before the WTC final: Ramiz Raja
The 2023 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final is taking place at the Oval in London. Playing against the Rohit Sharma-led team is the Pat Cummins-led team. India got off to a good start when they chose to bowl first and took three wickets quickly. But Travis Head and Steve Smith made a great team, and Australia hit 327 runs on the first day to take the lead away from India.

Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja says that it’s hard to figure out what the teams need to do in a single test. He thought that a team from the subcontinent that goes to cold places must get used to the weather in 5 or 6 days. He thought that they should have played at least some games among themselves before such a big match. He said that India would have been used to the conditions even if they had only played three or four one-day games.

“One-time tests make it hard to figure out what you need to do. A team from the subcontinent comes to these cold places and has to get used to them in 5 or 6 days. Even though he didn’t even play a game. I don’t understand. This is the WTC Final, so India should have played at least some matches between their own teams before this. Even if you’ve played 3–4 one-day matches, you get used to the conditions,” Raja said on his official YouTube account.

Bowlers need to change their lines and lengths when playing in England. Ramiz Raja Raja went on to say that the pitch conditions in England are very different and that the players need to adjust. He also said that bowlers playing in English conditions have to change their lines and shapes. He also said that after four overs in the Indian Premier League (IPL), bowlers must throw 17 overs in a day.

“It’s cloudy, and the conditions on the pitch are different. You want things to change. Bowlers will also have to change their lines and lengths. In the IPL, you have to bowl 17 overs after four. Here, you have to bowl 17. “The body needs to rest,” the ex-cricketer said.
