What guidelines govern Hong Kong Sixes?

The inaugural Hong Kong Sixes took place in 1992, and notable cricket players like Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara have participated. The rules state that a team may field a maximum of six players for a maximum of 45 minutes during each match. Every team gets five overs, and everyone has to bowl one over apiece (well, except for the glove-wearing guy).

Batters are required to withdraw when they get a score of 31, which is one of the most interesting rules. Retired players are allowed to bat again at a later time provided that every other player on the team has been removed. This specific order was put in place to maximize the entertainment value for the viewers by encouraging high-scoring, fast-paced games.
