IND vs BAN 2nd T20I Stats Review: A fifty and two wickets for India in a match, and other stats

India kept on punishing Bangladesh, winning the second Twenty20 International in Delhi by an overwhelming 86 runs. With one game remaining, the home team also won the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh 2-0.

India was given the opportunity to bat, but they did not have the best of starts as they lost three wickets in the powerplay. India gained a decisive advantage in the match because to a 108-run partnership between Nitish Kumar Reddy (74 off 34) and Rinku Singh (53 off 29). Near the end, Hardik Pandya (32 off 19) added another quick run, but a burst of wickets in the final over, including three in the final over, held India’s score at 221/9. The only bowler to score fewer than nine runs per over was Taskin Ahmed (2 for 16), who was the best of the bunch.

Bangladesh failed to muster the will to mount a comeback after losing three wickets in the powerplay due to poor batting starts. Only Mahmudullah (41 off 39) was able to withstand a flurry of blows from the Indian bowlers.
