In the lead up to the crucial summer, Pat Cummins is "getting better" with each game.

Pat Cummins proved his captaincy skills by leading Australia to an incredible triumph in the just finished ODI World Cup. The 30-year-old revealed that he is still buzzing and on a high after reflecting on the victory.

Some people were surprised by Cummins’ strategic decision to bowl first against India in the tournament final, but as the game in Ahmedabad went on, it became clear that the Australia captain had made a wise choice. The first inning was slow, but the dew caused the pace to pick up, demonstrating Cummins’s clever captaincy.

“I still feel amazing and wake up every morning with a buzz. According to cricket.com.au, Cummins stated on Tuesday, “It’s definitely a career highlight.”

“Every game, I improve as captain, without a doubt. Both your victories and defeats teach you a great deal. Without a doubt, I’m improving,” Cummins continued, emphasizing his ongoing development in the position.

Mitchell Starc, a teammate and co-conspirator, also gave Cummins high marks, saying, “The last few months have spoken to that.” Starc praised the captain’s fortitude in the face of opposition, highlighting Cummins’s intransigence to other viewpoints.

“He is undoubtedly a d h critic. Although there is a belief that (the captaincy) must be carried out in a specific manner, Pat has never let that or outside noise deter her. The manner Pat led Australia through the World Cup, especially that final match, was a major factor in their win. We’re standing here with the trophy because things were done bravely and differently,” Starc continued.

We’re in perfect shape. We are not going to be rested. Pat Cummins

Dispelling any illusions of rest, Cummins and Starc looked ahead and reaffirmed their devotion to the forthcoming Test series against Pakistan. Cummins stated, “The words’rested’ and ‘rotated’ get thrown around a lot, but you never miss Test cricket fully fit.”

Pat Cummins is unwavering in his resolve and has said that Australia won’t be rested as they traverse a hectic 2023 filled with trips of India, the World Test Championship final, an away Ashes series, and the 50-over World Cup.

Despite the fact that we have taken a few breaks from playing games in recent years, those shorter breaks have allowed us to complete the majority of our work. We’re in perfect shape. We’re not going to sleep,” he said.
