Star Indian batter-wicketer KL Rahul has been enjoying his time off the field as he was left out of the squad for the Punjab Cricket Association’s IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, where the three-match Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan begins on January 11. KL Rahul was recently seen at a restaurant when he was accosted by some of his followers, who even bent down to touch his feet in an attempt to take a selfie.
The cricket player is seen posing for a selfie in the viral video, while indicating to his supporters not to do such things.

In the first Test, KL Rahul got his second straight century in Centurion while playing for India in a two-match Test series against South Africa.
The 31-year-old helped India amass 245 in the first innings with a fantastic effort of 101 (137) under challenging circumstances.
Since India’s elimination from the T20 World Cup 2022 following a humiliating ten-wicket loss to England, the Bangalore-born batsman has not participated in a Twenty20 international. With a strike rate of 120.75 and an average of 21.33 across six innings, Rahul’s performance on the bat did not stand out during the competition.
Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma will handle wicketkeeping in the Afghanistan T20Is.
With 2265 runs from 68 innings at an average of 37.75 and a strike rate of 139.12, two hundreds, and 22 fifties, he still has an incredible record in the shortest format of international cricket. In his absence, India’s final Twenty20 international match before the T20 World Cup 2024 will be against Afghanistan. Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma will be in charge of keeping the wickets during this series.
India’s three Twenty20 Internationals against Afghanistan will take place, notably, at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, January 11. The second match will be played in Indore on January 14 and in Bengaluru on January 17.
In the forthcoming series, captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli will make their T20I squad comeback for the first time since the T20 World Cup in 2022.
