During his appearance on JioHotstar’s special show “Gen Bold,” Nitish Kumar Reddy discussed his cricket career development. The SRH player was pleased to have achieved his greatest degree of accomplishment in the previous year or so. Reddy anticipated that he would keep doing well for India and SRH at the same level.
In the current IPL 2025, the SRH all-rounder has been playing well. With a strike rate of 137.78, Nitish Kumar Reddy has amassed 62 runs in the three games that SRH has played. Reddy hasn’t got an opportunity to bowl in the current competition, though.
“I am quite pleased with the strides I have made in both my IPL franchise and my performances for my nation. Nitish stated, “I want to keep delivering at the same level.” The renowned all-rounder believed that he needed to maintain his composure as people began to notice his performances. The top player claimed that maintaining his passion for the game was his main priority.
“A big shift has occurred; people are now recognising me and complimenting my performances. I don’t want to let this bother me, though. I want to continue playing with the same fervour and regularity going forward, whether it’s for India or my franchise. “I’m still focused on preserving my passion for cricket,” Nitish continued.
SRH’s approach is revealed by Nitish Kumar Reddy, who says, “I would rate my team very highly.”
The all-rounder thought highly of SRH and wanted to repeat his and his team’s 2024 performance. He disclosed SRH’s approach, which is to play freely, make the most of the Powerplay overs, and maintain the momentum for the remainder of the innings.
“I think my team is excellent. Last season was amazing, and we hope to have the same kind of success. Our approach is straightforward: we play freely, make the most runs during the powerplay, and maintain that energy into the subsequent overs. Everyone has a part to play, regardless of their position in the hierarchy. We’re looking forward to another fantastic season,” Nitish Kumar asserted.
The Sunrisers’ season hasn’t been as successful as they would have hoped. The Orange Army scored the second-highest IPL total ever against RR in their opening game. The 2016 winners, however, dropped to eighth place in the standings after losing to LSG and DC in their past two games, respectively.
