Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals had no issue chasing the score and won by nine wickets with eight balls to spare. Young attacking opener Yashasvi Jaiswal took the lead in the inning. He scored 104 runs from 60 deliveries to help his team earn another two points.

Despite losing five of their eight games in the Indian Premier League 2024, the Mumbai Indians still control their own fate.
