In preparation for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, Team India is ready to play again. The Indian side has not played in a few weeks; their most recent match was against Sri Lanka. The BCCI had a camp in Chennai from September 13–18 in preparation for the series against Bangladesh. The series is scheduled to start on September 19.
Just 21 years old, Himanshu Singh has been added to the team to assist India’s batters in countering Bangladesh’s spin attack. Himanshi has impressed Ajit Agarkar, India’s head selection, and his fellow selectors, who have been monitoring his development. His style is pretty similar to that of Ravichandran Ashwin. Moreover, Himanshu Singh participated in the BCCI’s “emerging players” camp held in Bengaluru and Anantapur.
Himanshu Singh of Mumbai has reportedly been called up to the camp.
“Ajit Agarkar and his other selectors have been monitoring Himanshu’s development for some time and have been impressed with him. His stature is six feet four inches, and he moves like Ashwin does, an informed source told the Times of India.

Bangladesh and India will play a multi-format series.
It is noteworthy that India and Bangladesh will play a three-game Twenty20 International series following the two-match Test series. The three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) will take place at Gwalior, Delhi, and Hyderabad on October 6, 9, and 12.

Bangladesh is going to be cocky about their next match against India. In a recent Test series, the team defeated Pakistan 0–2 and moved up into the World Test Championship rankings. The team is hoping to upset the standings once again by playing like they did against India, who lead the WTC.
