The Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s hopes of winning the first championship were once again dashed as they were eliminated from the competition after losing to Rajasthan Royals in the elimination round. The Royals prevailed in the tournament’s eliminator match, which took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad between the two teams.

Dreams of making it to the postseason were dashed for RCB after the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals defeated them by four wickets to advance to Qualifier 2. Following the match, head coach Andy Flower of RCB took the field to praise the team’s outstanding fighting performance this season.
“Our boys have, in my opinion, fought outstandingly over the past ten weeks to recover from our first-half performance in the tournament. It was a fantastic effort, and I would want to thank Faf du Plessis for leading by example as captain and Virat for leading by example as professional athletes.
