It is said that fever was the cause of his rejection. The bowler was unable to attend the team’s Thursday training session due to illness. He is anticipated to be fully recovered for the remaining games, though.
The top pacer has been told to take it easy so that he can play in the remaining matches of the 2023 ODI World Cup, according to PCB authorities.
Notably, Hasan Ali is anticipated to be replaced for the match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai by bowling all-rounder Mohammad Wasim Jr.
