Hasan Ali will miss the South Africa match at the 2023 ODI World Cup due to sickness

Pakistan has suffered a severe blow ahead of their crucial match against South Africa on Friday, October 27, as their star pacer Hasan Ali is out of the contest. It is said that fever was the cause of his rejection. The bowler was unable to attend the team’s Thursday training session due to illness. He is anticipated to be fully recovered for the remaining games, though.

The top pacer has been told to take it easy so that he can play in the remaining matches of the 2023 ODI World Cup, according to PCB authorities.

Notably, Hasan Ali is anticipated to be replaced for the match at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai by bowling all-rounder Mohammad Wasim Jr.

With regard to his World Cup campaign thus far, the Punjab-born cricket player has been an essential member of the Men in Green team. Against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, he has claimed eight wickets in five games, with a best of 4/71. He has also given runs at a respectable 5.82 per over, indicating good economy.
