Today’s second ODI between India and England is scheduled to take place at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium. The Men in Blue have a chance to win another series at home and maintain their supremacy in India against the Englishmen, but it will be a game of life for England to win the series again.
Young bowler Harshit Rana, who took three wickets in his maiden match in Nagpur, is one of the many players to keep an eye on in the forthcoming ODI series. Rana became the first bowler from India to take three or more wickets in his debut in any format thanks to the performance.
Rana in the blue jersey is still in his infancy, but it appears that he has already won over the fans, as seen by the first game. As the supporters kept applauding the Indian players, Rana decided to give them a funny and original surprise. The young, ecstatic admirers were won over when Rana threw apples in their direction. The supporters didn’t appear to mind grabbing the apples, even if they were hoping for cricket balls.

Harshit Rana does well in his first two white-ball international matches.
Rana made his debut on the white-ball scene by replacing Shivam Dube, who suffered a concussion, in the fourth Twenty20 International match against England in Pune. He assumed responsibility for the middle and last overs, getting crucial wickets and finishing with impressive statistics of 3/33 in his four overs.
He demonstrated tenacity in the first ODI at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium as well, finishing as one of the best bowlers with figures of 3/53 in the seven overs he bowled in the match despite being hit for 26 runs in his third over by Phil Salt.
