Famous cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle was spotted selecting his preferred players from the just finished T20 World Cup 2024 to assemble the competition’s team. Up to six Indian players are among the star-studded XI that Bhogle has selected, and two players from Afghanistan have also been included. Remarkably, the captain of Men in Blue and the winner of the World Cup leads Harsha Bhogle’s XI.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz of Afghanistan, who excelled for the Blue Tigers with his sharp stroke-making throughout the competition, has been paired with Rohit for the opening duties. In the highly sought-after ICC event, both hitters made sure their teams got off to fast starts and shown the proper intentions from the beginning.
Later, fiery Caribbean Nicholas Pooran, who was also assigned to the wicketkeeper position, held the no. 3 post. Another Indian name that Bhogle has in his list is Suryakumar Yadav.
Harsha Bhogle’s team of the tournament included Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis, Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya, and Afghan captain Rashid Khan. According to Bhogle, the three provides the team with the ideal balance needed to win significant championships.

Lastly, there is Kuldeep Yadav, who is a specialist spinner. Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh then lead a potent pace assault.

It’s important to remember that none of the South African players who finished as finalists or runners-up could see their names on the list that Bhogle released. With the exception of Pooran, every player on Bhogle’s chosen team is a member of a team that advanced to the global tournament’s knockout stages.
