Following the Punjab Kings vs. Delhi Capitals IPL 2025 match, broadcasters interviewed Harpreet Brar, who discussed what he learnt from Yuzvendra Chahal. Brar said that Chahal is the most prolific wicket-taker in IPL history and considered him a legend of spin bowling in the league.
Because of Chahal’s wrist injury, Brar has been playing for the Kings in recent games. He has performed admirably in those games, most notably leading his team to victory over the Rajasthan Royals. The up-and-coming spinner said he wanted to learn from Chahal and did just that.
He is undoubtedly the league’s top wicket-taker. He is a legend among the spinners, to be clear. I wanted to learn something from him before the season started, and I did,” Brar stated in an interview with JioHotstar.

The game of cricket is humorous: Harpreet Brar
According to the PBKS spinner, the leg spinner struggled to take wickets in the first few games before coming back strong and taking a tonne of them. According to Brar, he discovered that cricket is a humorous game in which anything can happen in an instant.
“You would have seen that throughout the season’s opening games, Chahal was not taking wickets. But they came in droves when he began to take wickets. The game of cricket is humorous. I’ve discovered that you have to wait—it doesn’t take long for your time to alter,” Brar continued.
