Haris Rauf will not bowl during India’s match against Pakistan in the 2023 Asia Cup as a precaution

Following a potential side strain on Sunday, September 10, Pakistani quick Haris Rauf will not bowl during the match against India at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo as a preventative measure.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the thought tank opted against pressuring him to return for the match against the Men in Blue even though the degree of the injury is yet unknown. Haris was transported for an MRI scan in the evening after he began to experience pain on the designated match day.

Notably, Haris Rauf bowled five over for 27 runs while remaining wicketless before going to the hospital for tests.
