Yashasvi Jaiswal, the opener for India, has grown in importance as a member of the team. Jaiswal, who is only 22 years old, has already shown his class and is quickly rising to the position of one of the team’s key players. The company Jaiswal keeps on the pitch is largely responsible for his success.
The young player gains a lot of experience playing with legends like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Since making his debut in India in July 2023, Jaiswal and seasoned player Rohit Sharma have developed a strong friendship.
The 22-year-old recently took the stage and discussed what an amazing experience it is to bat with Rohit Sharma and how much of a learning experience it has been.
“Every time I go out and bat with him, it’s an amazing experience. He has told me about his experiences. I believe there are many things (to learn from him) in the way he reads the wicket and handles the game. Jaiswal was cited as saying, “You can learn things from him like changing your batting when a wicket or two falls, or turning tracks or adjusting your batting to seaming.”

“I can see a lot of scenarios now, and I can read the situations and adjust my game for the team accordingly. These, in my opinion, have been crucial to me during the past year. I was ignorant of many things when I played domestic cricket. However, since I began playing international cricket, my ability to read the game and communicate has greatly increased. All I want to do is keep learning,” he continued.

It’s important to remember that Yashasvi Jaiswal has represented India in nine Test matches and 23 Twenty20 international matches, scoring 723 and 1028 runs, respectively. Jaiswal has had an incredible start to his career, and things have been going well. He was also a member of the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup.
