On the last day, he urged his bowlers to exhibit greater discipline, saying that “we’ve already lost if we walk out there expecting to lose,” even though he acknowledged Bangladesh as “favourites.”
“We don’t deny that Bangladesh has a better chance of winning; nevertheless, if we go into the game with the intention of losing, we’ve already lost. We know we can have an impact with the ball if we bowl really effectively since we took 6 for 26 in the opening innings, Gillespie added.
