Coach and captain gave me license to play fearless cricket: Nitish Reddy

For cricket enthusiasts and specialists worldwide, Indian cricket and its overwhelming bench strength is nothing new. Even though legends like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have abandoned the format, T20I cricket’s future doesn’t appear to be in the slightest. Every other game, as in the instance of Andhra’s Nitish Reddy in Delhi, is a tale taken up by a fresh, youthful blood. After earning his first cap in Gwalior, the SRH all-rounder proved he was capable of winning the series for India in the second T20I.

After India’s top order appeared vulnerable in the second game, the 21-year-old showed guts in all its forms by smashing 74 off 34 and hitting over 200 to help India score 221 runs.

Nitish Reddy didn’t end the night with only one wicket; he went on to take two more later in the match.

Following India’s convincing victory, the young player promised to keep shining for the squad in the long run and praised the captain and coach for let him play cricket the way he naturally does.

It’s an honour to represent India, and I’m quite happy about this. thankful for various things. The credit for granting me permission to play brave cricket belongs to the captain and coach. I took my time at first, but everything went my way following the no-ball. Being a member of the Indian team feels fantastic. I wish to carry on in this manner. After his exploits in Delhi, Reddy stated, “I want to keep repeating such good performances.”

India is saved by Rinku Singh

In addition to Reddy, the established T20I sensation Rinku Singh controlled one end of India’s swaying vessel with a strong 53 of 29, which included three sixes and five fours. Hardik Pandya’s 32 off 19 in the last over provided the finishing touches as the hosts amassed almost 200 runs ahead of a meek-looking Bangladesh.

With just Mahmudullah scoring 41 runs, the visitors, who appeared helpless against Suryakumar Yadav and his team, lost the second game by an overwhelming 86 runs.
