In an encouraging video, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) featured Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian men’s team, Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of the Twenty20 International team, and talismanic pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The team is getting ready to play South Africa in the Women’s World Cup 2025 final on Sunday, November 2, at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
Mitchell Marsh’s team is playing Gambhir and company in a five-match Twenty20 International series in Australia right now. The third T20I between the two teams is actually scheduled for Sunday. The Men in Blue did, however, take a moment to record sympathetic greetings for their counterparts.
Gambhir urged the Indian women’s squad to be bold and embrace the moment. He advised them not to fear making errors.
I would like to extend my best wishes to the women’s squad on behalf of the Indian team and the full support crew. Be bold and enjoy the moment. Do not fear making a mistake. Gambhir remarked, “You’ve already made the whole nation proud.”
Suryakumar, meanwhile, wished Harmanpreet’s women success in the summit battle and noted that their campaign has been fantastic thus far.
“I’m sending my best wishes to the women’s squad for the World Cup final. Simply be yourself and enjoy the situation. According to Suryakumar, your campaign has been fantastic thus far.
Bumrah, however, counseled the team to stick with what has helped them win the competition thus far.
Enjoy the moment. It’s not often that you get to play in World Cup finals. Nothing has to be changed; you are playing incredibly well. Simply take it easy and savor the moment. Give it your all, and the rest will fall into place,” Bumrah remarked.
