For the forthcoming IPL season, Star Sports has once again enlisted the services of Navjot Singh Sidhu, the former cricket player from India who gained fame as a commentator.
After a successful career as a commentator, Sidhu, who was well-known for his one-liners and “Khataak,” entered politics in 2004. After joining the BJP, the former player for India ran for office from the Amritsar seat. After winning consecutive elections, Navjot Singh Sidhu retained the seat until 2014.
Navjot Singh Sidhu’s political endeavor forced him to put his commentary career on hold, but as many had hoped, he is now back in the saddle. A wise man once observed, “Hope is the biggest ‘tope.'” Star announced the news in a social media post with the description, “.”
