Five Twenty20 Internationals will be toured by Bangladesh in May.

Bangladesh will travel to Pakistan for a five-match Twenty20 International series in May, the Pakistan Cricket Board said on Wednesday.

Three ODIs and three T20Is made up the initial lineup of the series, which is a part of the Future Tour Programme (FTP). However, both boards have decided to substitute two more T20Is for the ODIs in light of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is set for next year,” the PCB stated in a statement.

From May 25 to June 3, Faisalabad and Lahore will host the five-match T20I series. The first and second Twenty20 Internationals of the series will take held at the Iqbal Cricket Stadium in Faisalabad, which hosted the first Champions One-Day Cup in September of last year and the National T20 Cup last month. The dates are set for May 25 and 27, respectively.

International cricket will return to Iqbal Stadium after a 17-year break, having previously hosted 24 Test matches and 16 ODIs between 1978 and 2008. In April 2008, an ODI between Bangladesh and Pakistan was the final international match played at the historic site.

The last three Twenty20 Internationals will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 30, June 1, and June 3. At 8 p.m., all five games will start.

The Bangladeshi team will come on May 21 and train at Iqbal Stadium from May 22 to May 24.
