CSK vs RCB Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will square off in the eighth match of the current IPL 2025 on Friday at the MA Chidambaram Cricket Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai, on what may be a spin-friendly pitch. After winning their respective first meetings, the two dominant teams square off in this epic matchup.

Despite several setbacks, CSK defeated their bitter rivals, the Mumbai Indians, in their opening match and would like to continue their dominance at home. Furthermore, with spinners controlling the majority of the action, Chennai has trounced RCB in Chepauk, denying them a taste of success since 2008.

But if RCB can duplicate opening game performers, the task won’t be as difficult. Following his four-wicket haul against the Mumbai Indians in the last game, the Chennai Super Kings will once again rely on the bowling prowess of Noor Ahmad. With an almost assured economical spell, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin would also want to be in the wickets column. For CSK, Khaleel Ahmed’s opening outburst (3/29) is encouraging.
