After four appearances, Hong Kong is still looking for their first Asia Cup victory. By placing third in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup, they secured their place in this edition. Hong Kong has participated in 16 T20I games and won eight of them in 2025 alone. In July, they participated in the Asia Pacific Cricket Champions Trophy as well, losing to Malaysia in the final and placing second.
