Fact Check: Suryakumar Yadav’s viral hairstyle pic – Real or fake?

Many people have been wondering if Suryakumar Yadav has indeed dyed his hair pink ever since the picture first surfaced.

Hairstylists are now an essential part of the sports industry in the glitzy, famous generation. Cricket players have frequently experimented with contemporary hairstyles. In numerous instances, cricket players have also brought their own hairdressers on tour.

Because cricket players are constantly featured in the media, maintaining a professional appearance has become essential for modern cricket players. In the meantime, a photo of Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav with his hair dyed pink in a novel way has gone viral on social media.

Nevertheless, it has been discovered that the picture is phoney. Actually, Suryakumar and his wife Devisha Shetty recently went to Bandra’s famed, celebrity-focused Sunny Hairport salon. Sunny shared a reel of Suryakumar’s experience on Instagram.

Sunny was spotted talking about Suryakumar Yadav preferred hairstyle. The Indian T20I captain’s hair was then styled by Sunny from various camera angles.

In the end, Suryakumar Yadav seems happy with the result.

In terms of cricket, Suryakumar Yadav will captain India in the 2025 Asia Cup. With 717 runs in 16 innings with a strike rate of 167.91, the explosive batter finished as the second-leading run scorer in the 2025 Indian Premier League.

In relation to the Asia Cup, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the continental competition starting on September 9. On September 10, India will begin their campaign against the UAE, the hosts. Notably, two groups of four each have been formed from the eight competing teams. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka make up Group B, while India, Oman, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates make up Group A. Each group’s top two teams move on to the Super Fours, which will be followed by the championship game.
